Statistics is a branch of mathematics concerned with the gathering, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of numerical data and masses. Statistics, in other terms, is a collection of quantitative data. The term "Statistics" is frequently used; it is derived from the Latin word "Status," which means "a collection of figures or numbers"; these figures or numbers comprise some data of human interest. Statistics can be obtained and experienced in everyday life, for example, on television or in other information materials, books, or newspapers. However, at first, it was heavily employed and chosen by Kings for the purpose of obtaining data about their sovereign states and further information about their population, their profits, yield, and income of the country, and so on. The goal of statistics is to provide sets of data that can be compared so that analysts may focus on significant changes and trends. Analysts evaluate the data in order to draw judgments about its significance.
